Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At Overbuilt, we want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. If there is ever an issue with your order, we're committed to resolving it fairly and quickly. Please review the following policy before placing an order.
Return Eligibility
Return requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the delivery date.
To qualify for a return, the item must:

Be unused and in brand-new condition.

Be returned in its original packaging with all included hardware, accessories, manuals, decals, protective films, and documentation.

Show no signs of installation, use, modification, damage, wear, or contamination.

Be packaged securely to prevent damage during return shipping.
Any item that has been installed, used, modified, scratched, damaged by the customer, or returned incomplete may be refused or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.
In order for a refund to be applied from any return, we must examine the parts when we receive the return, and once we have confirmed they are in proper condition, a refund will be applied.
Returns Caused by Customer Error
If the return is requested due to a customer-related reason, including but not limited to:

Ordering the wrong bike model

Ordering the wrong year or trim

Ordering the wrong color or finish

Ordering the wrong size
-
Ordering the wrong product
-
Ordering duplicate items

No longer wanting the item

Purchasing by mistake

Change of mind

Failure to read the product description or compatibility information

Any other reason not caused by Overbuilt
The customer is responsible for:

All return shipping costs.

Any original shipping charges (if applicable).

Any carrier surcharges incurred during the return.
-
Any restocking fees charged by manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers.

Any payment processing fees that cannot be recovered by Overbuilt.

Any additional costs incurred as a direct result of the return.
Any applicable fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
Returns Caused by Overbuilt
If the return is necessary because of an error on our end, including but not limited to:

Wrong product shipped
-
Wrong color shipped
-
Wrong size shipped
-
Wrong quantity shipped

Incorrect item variant
-
Missing components
-
Manufacturing defect
-
Item damaged during shipping
-
Item arrived non-functional
-
Item substantially different from its product description
Overbuilt will provide:

A full refund or replacement (customer's choice where applicable).

Return shipping at no cost to the customer.

Coverage of all applicable restocking fees.
-
Coverage of any return-related costs resulting from our error.
Customers should notify us as soon as possible after delivery and provide photographs of the issue when requested.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not be eligible for return unless defective or shipped incorrectly:

Installed products

Used products
-
Modified products
-
Custom-made or made-to-order products

Clearance or final sale items (unless otherwise stated)

Items missing original packaging or components
Refund Processing
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Please allow several business days for your financial institution to post the refund after it has been issued.
Preorder Cancellation Policy
Certain products may be sold as preorders. Estimated lead times will be listed on the product page.
Cancellation Within 48 Hours
Preorders canceled within 48 hours of purchase may be canceled free of charge.
Cancellation During the Listed Lead Time
If a preorder is canceled after the initial 48-hour period but before the published lead time has expired, a 15% preorder cancellation fee will apply.
This fee helps cover payment processing costs, supplier commitments, inventory allocation, and administrative expenses associated with preorder fulfillment.
Cancellation After the Lead Time Has Passed
If the published lead time has already expired and your preorder has not yet shipped, you may request cancellation without any cancellation fee.
In-Stock Order Cancellations
Before Shipment
Orders for in-stock items that have not yet shipped may be canceled at no charge.
After Shipment
Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled.
If you no longer want the item, you must:

Wait until the package is delivered.

Leave the product completely unopened and unused.

Return the package at your own expense.

Pay any applicable restocking fees.
Packages that have been opened, installed, or used are not eligible for return under this section.
Refused Deliveries
Refusing a shipment does not automatically qualify the order for a full refund.
Any return shipping charges, carrier fees, refused shipment fees, restocking fees, or unrecoverable payment processing fees incurred as a result of a refused package may be deducted from the refund.
Return Authorization
All returns require prior authorization from Overbuilt.
Returns sent without approval may be refused or returned to the sender.
Do not send products back until return instructions have been provided.
Fraudulent or Abusive Returns
Overbuilt reserves the right to deny returns or refunds in cases involving:

Fraudulent claims

Excessive return activity

Missing or altered products

Intentional product damage

Abuse of the return policy

Returns that do not comply with the requirements outlined above
Limitation of Liability
Overbuilt is not responsible for:

Installation costs
-
Labor charges
-
Lost wages
-
Vehicle downtime
-
Third-party repair costs

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, installation, use, or return of our products.
