Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At Overbuilt, we want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. If there is an issue with your order, we are committed to resolving it fairly and quickly. Please review this policy before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

We accept eligible returns for both defective and non-defective products. Return requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the delivery date.

For a non-defective product to qualify for a return or exchange, it must:

• Be unused and in brand-new condition.

• Be returned in its original packaging with all included hardware, accessories, manuals, decals, protective films, and documentation.

• Show no signs of installation, use, modification, damage, wear, or contamination.

• Be packaged securely to prevent damage during return shipping.

Installed, used, modified, scratched, customer-damaged, contaminated, or incomplete items may be refused. Defective products and products shipped incorrectly are handled under the “Returns Caused by Overbuilt” section below.

Returned products must be received and inspected before a refund or exchange is approved.

Return Methods

Approved returns may be sent by mail or returned at an authorized drop-off location when one is provided in the return instructions.

All returns require prior authorization from Overbuilt. Do not send or drop off a product until return instructions have been provided.

For an eligible non-defective return by mail, Overbuilt can provide a downloadable and printable return label for a $10 fee. The $10 label fee will be deducted from the refund. Customers may instead use their own trackable shipping method at their expense after receiving return authorization.

Returns Caused by Customer Error or Change of Mind

Customer-related returns include, but are not limited to:

• Ordering the wrong bike model, year, trim, color, finish, size, quantity, or product.

• Ordering duplicate items or purchasing by mistake.

• No longer wanting the item or changing your mind.

• Failure to review the product description or compatibility information.

• Any other return reason not caused by Overbuilt.

Eligible non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee calculated from the product price. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

The customer is responsible for return shipping, including the $10 Overbuilt return-label fee when that option is selected.

Returns Caused by Overbuilt

If a return is required because of an Overbuilt error or defective product, including a wrong product, color, size, quantity or variant; missing components; manufacturing defect; shipping damage; non-functional item; or an item substantially different from its description, please notify us as soon as possible and provide photographs when requested.

For an approved Overbuilt-error or defective-product claim, we will provide a full refund, replacement, or exchange where applicable. Overbuilt will cover authorized return shipping, and no restocking or return-label fee will apply.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for eligible products requested within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Non-defective products must remain unused, uninstalled, unmodified, complete, and in brand-new condition with their original packaging. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Customer-choice exchanges are subject to the same 15% restocking fee and return-shipping terms described above. Approved exchanges caused by an Overbuilt error or product defect are not subject to those fees.

Non-Returnable Items

The following products are not eligible for return or exchange unless defective or shipped incorrectly:

• Installed, used, modified, or customer-damaged products.

• Custom-made or made-to-order products.

• Clearance or final-sale items, unless otherwise stated.

• Items missing original packaging, components, or documentation.

Refund Processing

After an authorized return is received and inspected, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.

Your financial institution may require additional time to post the credit after Overbuilt issues it.

Preorder Cancellation Policy

Certain products may be sold as preorders. Estimated lead times will be listed on the applicable product page.

Cancellation Within 48 Hours

Preorders canceled within 48 hours of purchase may be canceled free of charge.

Cancellation During the Listed Lead Time

If a preorder is canceled after the first 48 hours but before the published lead time expires, a 15% preorder cancellation fee will apply.

This covers payment processing, supplier commitments, inventory allocation, and administrative expenses associated with preorder fulfillment.

Cancellation After the Lead Time Has Passed

If the published lead time has expired and the preorder has not shipped, cancellation may be requested without a cancellation fee.

In-Stock Order Cancellations

Before Shipment

Orders for in-stock products that have not shipped may be canceled at no charge.

After Shipment

Once an order ships, it can no longer be canceled. If the product is no longer wanted, wait for delivery and request a return under this policy.

The product must remain completely unopened, unused, and uninstalled. Customer-choice return shipping and the 15% restocking fee will apply.

Refused Deliveries

Refusing a shipment does not automatically qualify an order for a full refund.

Return-shipping or carrier fees caused by the refusal, plus the applicable 15% restocking fee for a non-defective product, may be deducted from the refund.

Return Authorization

All returns and exchanges require prior authorization from Overbuilt. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the sender.

Fraudulent or Abusive Returns

Overbuilt reserves the right to deny a return, exchange, or refund involving fraudulent claims, excessive return activity, missing or altered products, intentional damage, policy abuse, or failure to comply with this policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Overbuilt is not responsible for installation costs, labor charges, lost wages, vehicle downtime, third-party repair costs, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, installation, use, or return of a product.

This provision does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
